HISTORY
Corporate History- 1946
- Established in Mobara-machi (current Mobara City), Chiba Prefecture, and relocated to Shimura, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo.
- 1947
- Started production and sales of copper sulfate.
- 1948
- Started the nickel business plan.
- 1949
- Started production and sales of nickel sulfate.
- 1950
- Started production and sales of nickel metal.
- 1951
- Relocated to Chogo-cho (currently Higashisakashita), Itabashi-ku, Tokyo.
- 1952
- Commenced operations at the new nickel plant.
- 1956
- Listed on the First Section of the Osaka Stock Exchange.
- 1969
- Began operations at the ferronickel plant in Date Town (currently Date City), Hokkaido.
- 1979
- Consolidated nickel cutting, packaging, and nickel salt production facilities in Higashisakashita, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo (currently Shimura Plant), and sold the former nickel plant site.
- 1982
- Ceased operations at the ferronickel plant in Date.
- 1985
- Completed land reclamation of the former Date plant site.
- 1992
- Entered the real estate business.
- 1998
- Entered the environmental business and was commissioned by the Japan Science and Technology Agency to develop a “High-Speed Sludge Composting System.”
- 2003
- Changed the company name from Shimura Kako Co., Ltd. to S Science Company, Ltd.
- 2006
- Merged with Felix Co., Ltd., an education-related company.
- 2011
- Relocated the head office to Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
